Getting Active Again in 2023

Although we kept going through lockdown (through Zoom), it took us a while to really get going again.

2023 was a much more active year.

In January and February we added our voices and songs to NHS SOS demonstrations in Nottingham.

In June we sang at the opening of Refugee Week in Sneinton Market.

In July we joined other campaigning and community choirs from around the country at the annual Street Choirs Festival - this year held in Kendal

We also sang at the annual Cuba Organic Garden Party.

In September we sang for World Peace Day in Chesterfield

And finally, in November, we sang at the Voices of Hope concert at Nottingham Playhouse - a christmas fundraiser for the Notts and Nottingham Refugee Forum.
